Guest Resource Services is proud to announce new possibilities for people living with disabilities.  Braille is now a reality for Guest Resource Services and their differently-abled learners.

Five brail machines were donated to Guest Resource Services by The World Meman Foundation and The Garden Social Services, to make learning in Braille possible for blind learners.  The estimated cost per Perkins brailler is R13 000.

The handover of the braillers, took place at Guest Resource Services Head Office in Pretoria.  This joyous occasion was attended by Mr Mohammed Osman and Mr Faizal Ayub from the respective organizations with CEO of Guest Resource Services Dr Wilma Guest Mouton, differently-abled learners from Guest Resource Services and supporting staff.  Excitement was visible all around as learners were able to write and read in a format accessible to the blind.

Braillers were immediately taken into practice by blind learners enrolled for Business Administration NQF 2  qualification.

This initiative was made possible by Ms Maymoona Chouglay, a differently-abled social worker from Department Social Development and Mr Johan Venter Key Accounts Disability at Guest Resource Services.
