While still taking Covid-19 very seriously, students prefer to physically attend class rather than blended learning as data and connection services still can be a big challenge in certain areas. Temperatures are being checked when entering, hands sanitized and all surfaces sanitized daily, the rooms also get fogged weekly and we have made provision for all the equipment needed. The classroom space has changed to allow for social distancing and masks are worn at all times.
We have new projects starting (Cradock, Humansdorp) outside of our main hubs and will also be returning to Mthata with special needs training.
In Gqeberha (previously known as Port Elizabeth) the team and projects are growing at a steady rate and we are also venturing into entrepreneurial projects that will give skilled people the opportunity to create their own sustainable income working from home, by linking the available work with the skilled persons.
