FASHION PARADE WITH A TWIST, DISABLED LEARNERS BEING DIVERSE ON CASUAL DAY 2017

A bright day that will forever be seeded upon the minds of 90 plus people living with multiple disabilities and the supporting staff, as disability was not the main focus but rather the talents and how unique and diverse we truly are.

On Spring Day Prinshof school for the visually impaired and Guest Resources Services, Further Education and Training Institute,  celebrated diversity together.

The focus was on individuality.  It was done in a truly, fashionable way. Participants expressed the uniqueness and the brightness within them.

All had fun showing off different outfits and laughter and applause filled the fields.  The two organisations blend together and celebrated diversity.

Fashion statements were made when participants took to the floor waving and dancing.  Winners were later crowned.

Our top six performers were:

Casual Day royalties

2nd Prince and Princess = Tumisang Mosiane from Guest Resource Services and Princess Mokoena from Prinshof School

1st Prince and Princess = Ntokozo Mkambo and Elizabeth Masilela from Guest Resource Services

King and Queen of Casual day = Katlego Molekoa alongside Basetsana Mabatwane from Prinshof Primary School.

A very successful day, with appreciation to all the planners, organisers, support staff and participants.
