Our graduation-ceremonies take place after National Certificates for achievements are issued by the relevant Sector Education Authorities (SETAs). These certificates are issued if a learner successfully completed a learnership. A learnership consists of theoretical training and workplace experience, and work submitted by learners is assessed, moderated, externally verified and there is also workplace sign off. the award after the successful completion of a year long Learnership.
All candidates who complied with the requirements for the issuing of their respective qualifications were invited to attend the graduation ceremony.
The success of this special day is determined by the preplanning process as well as the execution on the special day:
Cutting of grass, steaming of the gowns and sorting of certificates.
Sound check, final touches, preparations (gowns and hats) and Tebogo Moloane the master of ceremonies busy preparing.
The following qualifications were successfully completed, and learners received National Certificates:
National Certificate : Retail Operations NQF Level 2 (WR Seta)
National Certificate: End User Computing NQF Level 3 (MICT Seta)
National Certificate Project Management NQF Level 4 (Services Seta)
Tebogo Moloane the master of ceremonies, started off followed by the Operations Manager, Piet Guest. Dr Wilma Guest-Mouton, CEO of Guest Resource Services was the keynote speaker. Her message focussed on self-responsibility and opportunities.
Learner representatives gave feedback on their experience during the learnership. They also gave thanks to family and friends for attending the ceremony.
Once the guest speakers were finished, learners received certificates in a festive atmosphere. The ceremony was ended when all sang the National Anthem , that was a golden moment.
After photos were taken, everybody was invited to partake in the festivities.
Positive feedback was received from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the excellent manner in which the graduation ceremony were conducted.
