Guest Resource Services- East London hosted a breakfast on Tuesday 20 November at the East London Golf Club. The invitation was extended to various Business Owners, HR Managers and CFO’S. These guests enjoyed hearing from Dr Wilma Guest-Mouton as she shared her insight on “The impact of Skills Development on my business. Should legislation influence my decision to train?”
This was followed by our Business Development Representative from Port Elizabeth – Shelley Botha who spoke about the ‘Yes’ initiative (Youth Employment Incentive) and the return on Investment-unpacking the tax benefits and the actual cost of the learnership, as well as Skills Development on the Scorecard.
Following this we had an informal question/answer session and those who were in attendance, found it to be extremely informative and enjoyable.
We thanked both Dr Wilma ad Shelley Botha for their availability and willingness to address our guests.
We are looking forward to hosting another breakfast early next year.
